Business workshop with Paul Dallibar
24 March 2010
Last week I went to a half-day workshop with Paul Dallibar, at the Brighton Hilton.
His business workshop focused on helping startups going further. Paul tailored the workshop based on what his audience needed. We mostly bounced ideas on marketing, small business finances and networking.
I came away from this workshop buzzing with new ideas on how to market my multilingual website company:
- Try speed networking to practice my elevator speech and get a good batch of business cards.
- Join the institute of business directors.
- Go to the British Library business section to research business data.
- Offer a radio station a special offer to advertise my multilingual website maker.
- Network at the BNI, the Brighton Chamber of Commerce and the First Friday Network.
- Leverage LinkedIn and Xing by participating in public debates, asking and answering questions in my field of expertise.
- Write a white paper on making multilingual websites.
The other participants also found the workshop very useful. If you're interested in Paul Dallibar workshop, get in touch with him at Gordian Solutions.
