Bespoke search engine optimization training for Culture Guide
12 April 2010
I worked with Andrea Holley from Culture Guide today to improve her website findability in search engines.
Andrea's Culture Guide is a service aimed at people who want to relocate to Brighton and Sussex. Her relocation service is different from other firms helping people from abroad relocate and integrate more successfully: Culture Guide focuses on the fact that living in a different culture can be confusing, even if you speak the language well. A personalised service explains what are culturally the normal customs and manners acceptable in differing areas eg. Business and socially.
I've shown Andrea how to scrutinize her website content, which tools to use to monitor it and how to optimize her website www.cultureguide.co.uk for her target audiences of businessmen and women, university and mature students and their families.
Although Culture Guide isn't using my multilingual website builder, I could still help Andrea set new targets and show her how to improve her website search engine optimization.
I knew optimization was very important for my website to be successful - but I didn't know how to approach it. That was until Nadjib at eBabel patiently explained what the key elements were, showed me how to use diagnostic tools, and generally put the complicated subject in perspective for me. After demonstrating how to find the best key words for meta tags, he even supplied me with personalised notes to follow. I've already started making improvements to my web pages.
Thank you again.
